The FBI recently shared this announcement on Twitter about the murder of Diana Ault from Independence, Missouri.

As they shared in their press release, Donna's murder was extremely peculiar. Police found her vehicle abandoned with a revolver and ammunition inside. When they searched her home, they heard children crying and found Donna deceased from a gunshot wound. Donna's two children were safe and recovered by police, but no determination was made of who killed Donna and why.

What's changed in the 28 years since Donna was killed? The FBI believe that technology they have now could break open new details of who is guilty of her murder. It is also believed there might be new information which police have obtained that may provide them new leads.
