The place is called The Ship in Kansas City, Missouri and it was just featured on the website onlyinyourstate.com, and it looks like a must-visit on your next trip to Kansas City. On the site they say...

"Perhaps better defined as a classic cocktail bar, The Ship has all of the components that make a memorable experience - an impressive menu, brag-worthy drinks, and live entertainment."

I wanted more information about the menu so I went to The Ship's website called theshipkc.com, and on their site they say...

"Your joint since 1935, The Ship offers food, drink, music, fun and fellowship. Our new All Else The Sea room provides space for live music and comfortably distanced drinks and dining. The outdoor sidewalk cafe is open when weather allows. Our kitchen offers to-go and home delivery food options. We feature live music from Kansas City artists most nights of the week."

I have never been to The Ship but the menu has me drooling they have featured items such as Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Firecracker Shrimp Po'Boy, and a hot KC Reuben, plus their drink menu includes things like Blackberry Margaritas, Maple Barrell Old Fashion, wines, beers on tap, and specialty beers.

The Ship sounds like an amazing place to check out, have you ever been? Am I hyping it up too much or is it really as cool as it seems?
