The Dream Big Color Run will take place this year, however it will be a virtual race.

Time to dust off those running shoes and sign up for the Dream Big Color Run. The race was canceled last year dur to COVID-19, but will be back virtually this year. Organizers are following all COVID-19 guideline set for for school districts, and in doing so they will have to make this year's race a virtual one, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the color run/walk.

The the 8th Annual DREAM BIG Color 5K Fun Run will start April 30 and you will have until May 2 to complete your run/walk. Registration is going on now, and will end on April 11. You may have seen color runs where people are showered with colorful dust and by the end of the race you (and your clothes and shoes) are covered in a rainbow of colors. My girls and I did this a few years ago, our experience was a cold, rainy, wet, one and they were not fans, but I am hoping to talk them into it again. It was a ton of fun (minus the bad weather).

The run/walk is one of the big fundraising events for the Quincy Public School District. To register go to qpsfoundation.org and register onlineAdult registration is only $25 and registration for youth, from ages 4 to 18,  is only $10. This year, each registrant will receive a 2021 Dream Big in Color T-Shirt, and 4-packets of food-grade biodegradable color powder to enjoy throwing with their family and friends. So you can color yourself!

Race organizer will provide the map of our traditional 5K route with mile markers, but everyone is encourage to your own route! Get ready to run and get messy with one of the funniest races I've ever done, and I know you will love it too!
