
Country Legend John Conlee To Perform At Kroc Center in July
Grand Ole Opry icon John Conlee, whose career has spanned over four decades, spanning 11 studio albums and seven #1 hits, will be bringing his smooth tenor voice and catalogue of hits to Quincy's own Kroc Center on Monday, July 16th for a one night only concert, brought to you in part by Classic Country 1530 KICK-AM.
John Conlee has been a towering presence as both a singer and a songwriter in Nashville since the early 70s. He signed on with ABC Records, and released his debut album, Rose Colored Glasses, in 1978. Conlee was formally inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1981. One of his #1 hits, 1982's "I'm Only In It For the Love" was co-written by a young Kix Brooks.
