The Villa Katherine is the official tourist information center in Quincy and is open every single day from 9 am until 4 pm. Villa Katherine is a home build in the year 1900 by the wealthy George Metz in a moorish style of architecture. And any time of the year is a great time to take in the breathtaking views the Villa Katherine's grounds offer you of the Mississippi River down below, but during the winter months it is a well known Bald Eagle sighting spot! The Villa Katherine sits on about 4 acres of land and inside of the Villa you have the opportunity to take tours of its unique Moroccan stylings that you can't find anywhere else in the Tri-States!
