Those familiar Salvation Army red kettles will be set up in Hannibal beginning Friday, November 14, and volunteers are needed to ring bells.

Volunteer help is vital to ensure The Salvation Army is able to meet the needs of individuals and families in Hannibal this holiday season, and throughout the year. It takes more than 3,000 man hours to cover all the kettle locations in the Hannibal area.

Groups of friends, family, and co-workers are encouraged to sign up now. Volunteering can easily be done online and people can even choose their location and times. You can also call Alisa Elkins at 217-231-5633 to reserve a shift.

The Salvation Army Hannibal Christmas campaign runs from November 14 through December 24. 100% of the money raised during the kettle campaign stays in the Hannibal area.
