A Quincy man was sentenced Monday for his role in a crash in Nebraska last year in which two people were killed.

26-year-old Edward Koch was sentenced to between 15 and 20 years in prison on two counts of manslaughter in Cass County, Nebraska District Court.

Exactly one year ago, Koch is alleged to have been traveling on Highway 34 in eastern Nebraska at a high rate of speed and rear ended a second car, resulting in the deaths of 23-year-old Mathew Kirchoff and 22-year-old Emily Widger, both of Nebraska.

Koch is alleged to have had a blood alcohol level of .192 at the time of the crash.
