Quincy Murder Victim Identified

Investigation continues into a murder discovered late Monday afternoon at 5th and Oak in Quincy. 

Adams County Coroner Jim Keller identifies the victim as 48-year-old Billy Graham of Quincy. Graham was found in an upstairs apartment at 501 North Fifth.

29-year-old Derek McKenzie was arrested shortly after Graham’s body was found. He is charged with first degree murder.

Quincy Police investigators say the death is apparently from blunt force trauma. McKenzie is held in the Adams County Jail.
