Quincy Man Seriously Hurt in ATV-Truck Crash

A Quincy man is seriously injured in a crash involving a truck and an ATV on 3rd Street between Sycamore and Maple in Quincy just before 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Quincy Police say the ATV driver, identified only as a Quincy man in his mid 40s, was driving the wrong way on 3rd Street and collided with a truck.

The driver of the truck was not hurt. The driver of the ATV was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

3rd Street was closed late last night as Illinois State Police investigators were called in.
