The Quincy firefighters will be selling commemorative t-shirts with proceeds going to the Blessing Cancer Center.

On Thursday, October 1 between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. people are encouraged to simply drive up to the front of the Central Fire Station at 906 Vermont, and buy a shirt from their car, as firefighters will be outdoors selling them. Shirts are available in all sizes. The art work on the shirts was done by Quincy fire fighter Mike Dade.

The special sale marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
