It's always great to see police departments and public agencies that have fun with their social media accounts. Here's a Facebook post from central Missouri that is generating thousands of likes.

Not only is the post funny, but it's also makes a good point in informing citizens of a local service they might not be aware of. I've seen other cities that have created "safe zones" for people conducting business over the internet, which is really, really smart. Sometimes these are in police department parking lots or other public places monitored by cameras. It's probably something every city should at least consider setting up.

Great job, Moberly PD, at protecting the public and entertaining them at the same time!
