A Memphis, Missouri woman, who is also a part-time Kahoka Police officer, was arrested over the weekend after threatening her daughter with a handgun.

Court documents indicate police were called to the residence of 42-year-old Michele Miller at 2:45 p.m. Sunday on a report of a dispute with a gun.

Memphis Police Chief Bill Holland reports Miller is alleged to have threatened to shoot holes in her teenage daughter’s swimming pool because the daughter had left the house without doing her chores.

Miller is charged with misdemeanor domestic assault. She is free on bond.

Miller has been a part-time officer in Kahoka for about a year.
