A mandatory injunction issued Thursday means Adams County voters turned away at the polls Tuesday because of a ballot shortage will get another chance to cast their votes.

Judge Chet Vahle issued a mandatory injunction to allow the request from State’s Attorney Jon Barnard. Voting is scheduled for Monday through Friday next week between 7:30 a-m and 5:30 p-m at the County Clerk’s office. Voters must have an affidavit or electronic piece of evidence showing they tried to vote.
Republican Adams County State’s Attorney candidate Jennifer Cifaldi is renewing her campaign in the wake of the injunction.
