Adventure awaits local performers at Quincy Community Theatre as they open auditions for the most legendary musical of our time—CAMELOT. Auditions are January 19-20, by appointment for men and women ages 18+.

This famous fable of love, chivalry, and betrayal paints the scintillating portrait of King Arthur, his captivating wife Guenevere, and their mythical kingdom as it existed for “one brief shining moment.” But when Arthur’s revolutionary round table attracts the notice of the indomitable Sir Lancelot, their fates take an unexpected turn that threatens to tear them—and their kingdom—apart. Featuring a richly romantic score, this four-time Tony Award winner is a magical musical experience destined for the ages. Performances are March 10-13 and 18-20.

Auditionees should prepare one minute of a song of their choice. An accompanist will be provided, so auditionees are asked to provide sheet music. Auditionees should also familiarize themselves with the script, available online. A password is required for access. Detailed audition requirements and character descriptions are available at www.1qct.org/on-stage/auditions.

CAMELOT is directed by Artistic Director Brandon Thomsen.

All roles are available and all auditionees are welcome, regardless of prior experience. To schedule an audition or for password information, contact the QCT Box Office at (217) 222-3209.
