I have lived and worked in Hannibal most of my life. I graduated from Gem City College in Quincy with an Associates in Business Administration. I have a background in retail sales management at JCPenney and have also worked in banking. I would say my extensive background in customer service has been an asset in journalism as well. I am acquainted with a lot of people in the area, including community leaders and public officials. I have worked in the News Department at KHMO since 2007. It is truly the most challenging and interesting job I have ever held. I consider myself a "late bloomer" Baby Boomer...but that's better than never!
