The Audrain County Sheriff’s Office reports they took delivery on a new body scanner about two weeks ago and completed training on how to use it last Friday.

On Tuesday, Arlie Nole, Jr. was booked into the jail for driving with a revoked license after a traffic stop in Vandalia. When Nole was scanned, an anomaly was found in the image.

When confronted, Nole turned over 19 grams of methamphetamine he had hidden in a body cavity.

Along with driving revoked, Nole is also charged with delivery of a controlled substance and delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a jail.

He remains in custody.
